Here are 5 beauty favorites that I have been loving lately.
Dior Hydra life Jelly Sleeping Mask
Aside from the fact that it comes in a heavy, luscious blue glass jar that is like a throwback from a much more glamorous time than now, and it has a divine scent, this mask seals the moisture in throughout the night and I wake up with plump, hydrated, baby foot soft skin. It never occurred to me to add an extra layer more moisture at night until I received a sample of this yummy blue gel-cream. I always believed that because I had oily skin, I didn’t need extra moisture. This product changed my mind. My name is Mrs.K and I’m a Sleep Mask-a-holic. Buy Here
Pixi Glow Tonic
I reviewed Pixi Glow Tonic when it first came out on my YT channel. It’s a really effective yet gentle acid toner. When I incorporate it into my skincare regimen, my skin seems brighter and more receptive to other treatments. I also notice fewer breakouts with this product.
Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser
I love Indie Lee’s Brightening Cleanser. For me, it’s the perfect second cleanser. It smells nice, doesn’t leave my face tight and doesn’t make me feel as if I’ve been through a wind tunnel. And yes, y’all, it does brighten. Perfection!!
Glossier Boy Brow
I am eyebrow challenged. I never had thick luxurious eyebrows, never. And after an unfortunate eyebrow waxing incident years ago, let’s just say, I have even less now. But this product, this very simple, no nonsense product finds what little hairs I do have and it actually makes them visible, so now I have a little something to work with. I have a technique that I use which requires me to use a separate angle brush in the process, but other than that, the Boy Brow has made my eyebrow step in my makeup routine, ten times easier.
MAC Prep and Prime Skin Base Visage
I’m not normally a primer kind of girl, and I’m definitely late to the Prep and Prime game. I stumbled on a sample in my stash during the October sample challenge on IG and thought I would give it a try; I’m glad I did, it is the perfect buffer between my sunscreen and foundation. My makeup actually stays on, which is awesome because I refuse to use anything waterproof if I can help it.
So that’s it for my faves. If you have any questions about any of these products, feel free to leave me a comment.
In the meantime,
I wish you moisturized wishes and prepped and primed dreams.
